Recap: Park Hyung Sik Charms Fans in “SIKcret Time in Manila” Fan Meet

Manila, Philippines – South Korean actor Park Hyung Sik delighted his fans who attended his ‘2024 Asia Tour Fan Meeting: SIKcret Time in Manila’ at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on February 17, 2024.

To kick off the event, Hyung Sik performed the song “Bud,” which is one of the soundtracks from his drama “Our Blooming Youth.”


Host Janeena Chan asked the South Korean star three questions, including “What was the first Tagalog word that he learned?”, “What does he think about first thing in the morning?”, and “What are his thoughts before the day ends?”.

Hyung Sik answered, “Mahal Kita,” expressing his excitement to see his secret agents (fans) and recalling all the memories during the fan meet.

He expressed his happiness about being back and his desire to go scuba diving in the Philippines.

The actor also answered the question about how he overcomes sadness. He mentioned that he spends time with friends, plays golf, and goes scuba diving.

He then revealed that growing up he wanted to become a policeman or a lawyer, but he loves where he is right now as an actor.

The actor then participated in various challenges, including playing “Sipa,” an Emoji memory test, a Poker face singing challenge, and a guessing game for Tagalog words.


The fan meet will not be complete without discussing his ongoing drama titled “Doctor Slump”.

He shared his thoughts that the script of his ongoing drama, “Doctor Slump,” caught his attention, as burnout is a trend in South Korea.

“I am happy with how people react to our scenes,”

He added when asked about his feelings regarding reuniting with actress Park Shin-hye.

The actor also asked the fans to continue supporting the drama series until the end.

During a photo-op with fans, Hyung Sik was surprised by a video made by his Filipino fans.

He expressed his gratitude to the fans who continue to support him.

“Thank you so much for all your passionate love.”

One of the highlights of the show is the songs performed by Park Hyung Sik, including his cover of Justin Bieber’s “Off My Face,” Sung Si-kyung’s “Every Moment of You,” and wrapping up the night with his song “Because of You.”

Park Hyung Sik made his debut as a member of the South Korean boy group ZE:A in 2010.

He also starred in famous Korean dramas including “The Heirs,” “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth,” “High Society,” “Strong Girl Bong-soon,” “Suits,” “Happiness,” “Our Blooming Youth,” and “Doctor Slump.”
