Ok Taecyeon Speaks About His Career, 2PM and Fans in His Press Conference

Manila, Philippines – South Korean actor and singer Ok Taecyeon met the members of the media and selected fans at his press conference on September 22, 2023, at the Novotel Manila.

Before the press conference started, personally signed photographs were given to all attendees by the staff of Pulp Live.

The press conference was hosted by Kring Kim, who also posed questions to Taecyeon.

After a quick photo-op on stage, Taecyeon said, “Even though it’s raining, thank you for coming,” referring to the rainy weather and the smog caused by the eruption of Taal Volcano in Manila.

The talented actor who first visited Manila in 2013 for their 2 PM concert said that he is very happy and grateful as he still feels the love of the Filipino fans.

The Love of Filipino Fans

Taecyeon talks about the fans and how thankful he is to them.

“Coming back is amazing”, he added and also mentioned that Philippines fans are loud, supportive and energetic.

“The support of my fans keeps me going,” he said when asked about the secret to his long career. The fans are also his motivation.

2PM

“Time flies” when asked on how he would describe the past years and that their debut was like yesterday and now it’s already 2023.

“With 2PM, we started as business partners, but now we have become like family and we support each other,” when asked about the differences between when they first started as a group and now.

Taecyeon’s Legacy

“I wanted to expand my spectrum as an actor and try different roles” when asked about his future goals as an actor.

As known for his physique, Taecyeon would like to try roles as a boxer, fighter, or swimmer.

The actor said that he wanted to be remembered for making the fans happy as both an actor and a singer.

Expect a lot of surprises for the show as Taecyeon has prepared something new that he is excited to share with everyone.

The 2023 Ok Taecyeon in Manila “SpecialTY” Asia Fanmeeting will take place on September 23, 2023, at 6 PM in the New Frontier Theater.
