Zark’s Burgers has become a household name in the Philippines, especially among burgers lovers. The company is not only known for it’s delicious food but also for its music festival called “Zark’s Fest 2023,” which started in 2019. After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Zark’s Fest 2023 returns bigger and better than ever before.
The highly anticipated Zark’s Fest 2023 was a huge success, with headlining acts Ben&Ben and Zack Tabudlo drawing massive crowds to the Circuit Events Ground in Makati, on May 14th. Visitors enjoyed a day full of delicious food, entertainment, and exciting activities that will surely leave a lasting memory.
Ben&Ben, the popular indie folk band known for their heartfelt lyrics and soothing melodies, took the stage as the final act of the festival. The band played a set of their most beloved hits, including “Di Ka Sayang,” “Kathang Isip,” and “Pagtingin,” and, “Araw-Araw.” Fans sang along with every word, swaying to the music and enjoying the warm summer evening. The group’s unique sound, which blends traditional Filipino instruments with modern pop and rock influences, captured the hearts of everyone in attendance.
The crowd was equally excited to see Zack Tabudlo, the rising Filipino singer-songwriter. Tabudlo, known for his soulful voice and catchy tunes, delivered an energetic performance that had fans singing along.
He played several of his most popular songs, including “Paano”, “Binibini,” and “Nangangamba.” His upbeat and infectious stage presence had the entire audience on their feet, and the energy was palpable. He also serenaded a fan on stage.
OPM legends Urbandub, Sandwich, Itchyworms, and Ebe Dancel rocked the stage, as they playing the best OPM songs to the fans.
Despite the hot weather, fans didn’t run out of energy as they cheered for P-pop girl group BINI.
In addition Zark’s Fest 2023 featured a variety of other talented performers. The artists who also performed are Autotelic, Kiyo, Lola Amour, Hey June, Eli and Six The North Star and Any Name’s Okay.
One of the main highlights of Zark’s Fest is the burger-eating competition, in which participants compete on-stage to see who can finish the Zark’s Burger in the shortest amount of time. Guinness World Record-holder Kevin “Zarkman” Medina is also in attendance and demonstrated how to eat a Jawbreaker Burger in less than five minutes.
Overall, Zark’s Fest 2023 was a fantastic experience for all participants. The festival provided a much-needed opportunity for music lovers to come together and enjoy live performances after a long hiatus due to the pandemic. The headlining acts, Ben&Ben and Zack Tabudlo, delivered top-notch performances that will be cherished by fans for years to come. Hopefully, we can anticipate more events like this in the future!
