Yesung’s ‘Unfading Sense in Manila’ Concert: A Melodic Journey

Manila, Philippines – Yesung has fulfilled his promise and returned to Manila for his solo concert tour titled ‘Unfading Sense’ Asia Tour on January 6, 2024.

The New Frontier Theater. I was immersed in a night of unparalleled musical magic as the beloved member of the iconic K-pop group Super Junior delivered another memorable performance to PH ELFs (Ever Lasting Friends).

The ‘Unfading Sense’ Asia Tour is a celebration of Yesung’s latest solo album. The Philippines is the second-to-last stop of the tour, which began in October 2023 in Seoul, South Korea.

The South Korean singer-songwriter kicked off the night by performing his latest songs “Scented Things,” “Fornever,” and “Silhouette,” mesmerizing the fans with his presence and vocals.

“Now that I recall, I believe I have visited the Philippines many times just to see all the Filipino ELFs.”

“I am very happy to see all of you more often,” said Yesung, expressing his joy at being reconnected with his Filipino fans. He promised to deliver a memorable performance for the fans to cherish.

Yesung’s performance was truly a sonic spectacle. He continued by serenading the fans with his classic hits “No More Love,” “Butterfly,” “Moment,” “Floral Sense,” “Beautiful,” and “4 Seasons.”

“It’s my first time traveling to different cities and countries by myself,” he said, referring to his first solo tour, something he had always dreamed of.

During Yesung’s performance, Filipino fans enthusiastically sang along to more of his tracks, including “Corazon Perdido,” “Like Us,” “It Has to Be You,” and “Bear Hug,” which left the audience cheering.

He later performed “Small Things,” “Slide Away,” and “Like Us,” then talked about his career and his love for his two dogs.

A surprise video was shown on the big screen, featuring PH ELFs from various locations in the Philippines holding a Yesung photocard and Super Junior lightstick.

As the final notes echoed through the venue, Yesung performed “Together” and “I Am,” ending the night on a high note.

Yesung expressed his gratitude for the steadfast support of the fans from the Philippines.

“I really want to express my gratitude to all of you. Despite the many years we’ve been together, I sincerely thank you for continuing to support me by coming to see me every time.”

During the show, he also mentioned the importance of continuing to support the other Super Junior members and expressed his hope to come back for another ‘Super Show’ in Manila.

The event is presented by Pulp Live World and marks their first K-pop concert of the year.
