Waterbomb Makes Manila Debut in February

Waterbomb

Manila, Philippines — The first-ever Waterbomb Manila will finally be happening on February 22–23, 2025, at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.

The festival, which originated in 2015 in Seoul, South Korea, is an annual music festival that has expanded to other cities and countries. It features performances from K-pop, hip-hop, and EDM artists.

The social media page of Waterbomb Manila has unveiled some of the artists performing at the two-day event.

DAY 1

Dynamic Duo

South Korean duo Choiza and Gaeko, winners of multiple Korean hip-hop awards, will perform on the event’s first day.

Lee Chae-yeon

South Korean singer and dancer Chaeyeon, a former member of the girl group Iz*One and sister of Itzy’s Chaeryeong.

DJ Roots

Producer and professional DJ, bringing his unique beats to the Filipino crowd.

STAYC

South Korean girl group STAYC will be returning to Manila after three years. The six-member group will perform their hits, including “So Bad,” “ASAP,” “Stereotype,” and more.

DAY 2

Kang Daniel

Songwriter Kang Daniel will headline the second day of the festival. He is a former member of Wanna One and is known for his role in the drama “Rookie Cops”.

Skull & Haha (RGP)

Another South Korean duo known as RGP (Reggae Peace like a River) will perform their tracks, a mix of hip hop and reggae.

Sulreggae

Consisting of members Shim and Hyang, who debuted in 2020, both are part of the group RBZ (aka Reggae Boys).

Reddy

Reddy, also known as Kim Hong-woo, is a singer and rapper who has been making music since 2011 and will finally be performing in Manila on the second day of the festival.

Yang Se-chan

Comedian and singer Yang Se-chan will return to Manila after a successful show last July 2024 for the Running Man in Manila “Run 2 U” event.

Siena Girls

South Korean group Siena Girls will light up the stage with their energy and charisma.

Insidecore

South Korean EDM performer and producer, known for his catchy beats and melodies, will also be joining the party.

VIVIZ

Former GFriend members Eunha, SinB, and Umji are ready to meet their Filipino fans, performing hit songs including “Bop Bop!,” “Loveade,” and more.

Gray

Another rapper and producer from South Korea, also known as Lee Seong-hwa, has been making music since 2012 and has produced many hit songs, including “We Are” by Woo and “On It” by Jay Park.
