Manila, Philippines – Wanderland Music and Arts Festival returns for its 9th event at the Filinvest City Events Grounds on March 9 and 10, 2024.
Started in 2013, the annual festival once again brings together music enthusiasts during the weekend to enjoy good music, fun activities, amazing arts, and delicious foods.
Here’s a recap of the festival.
Day 1
Attendees arrived as early as 1 PM and are all excited for the on-site activities and to watch their favorite artist in person.
Local artists Bird., Ena Mori, Gabba, Jose Miguel, and Lola Amour showcased their talents, demonstrating the exceptional musical abilities of Filipinos.
South Korean rock band Bosudong Cooler and rapper Beezino also graced the stage, performing their hits and energizing the crowd, who jumped and sang along.
Australian duo Cosmo’s Midnight electrified the Filinvest Events Ground with their unique sound.
Also joining the duo is ethereal pop mermaid Asta, who surprised fans with her stage appearance.
It was followed by a performance from Parcels, another Australian artist, bringing funk and groove to the venue.
With their unique blend of disco, pop, and electronic elements, the band delivered an unforgettable musical experience to the Filipino audience.
Fans get to experience the intimate and mesmerizing live performances of Welsh multi-instrumentalist Novo Amor.
The highlight of Day 1 is the much-awaited performance from renowned surfer turned singer-songwriter, Jack Johnson.
Jack Johnson serenaded the fans with his hits, including “Better Together” and “Upside Down,” and had a duet with Parcels performing “Breakdown.”
Day 2
The fun and positive vibes persisted on the second day of the event.
On Day 2, more local artists shined as DWTA, Party Pace, Paolo Sandejas, Grentperez, and Cloudriver entertained the crowd with their unique sets.
Indie pop sensation, The Walters, delivered a setlist that was both nostalgic and refreshing.
The band performed their hit song “I Love You So,” captivating the hearts of the audience.
The announcement of Hwasa’s performance at Wanderland 2024 sent waves of excitement through the local K-pop community, with fans eagerly anticipating the opportunity to witness her electrifying performances live.
Hwasa mesmerized the crowd when she performed her hits such as “I Love My Body,” “Twit,” “Don’t,” “Chili,” and “Maria.”
R&B singer Jeff Bernat serenaded the crowd with his distinctive blend of R&B, jazz, and neo-soul music.
He delivered a medley of OPM songs and a taste of his original songs, including the hit song “Call You Mine.”
Grammy Award-winning artist PJ Morton delivered an amazing performance with his smooth vocals and magnetic stage presence.
The dynamic French duo, Breakbot & Irfane, electrified the venue, making the fans dance to their infectious blend of funk, disco, and electronic music.
Thundercat, the headliner for Day 2, made sure to end the event on a high note.
The Grammy Award winner took to the stage with his trademark six-string bass guitar and immediately mesmerized the audience with his effortless fusion of jazz, funk, and electronica.
Overall, it was a weekend filled with good music, amazing crowd, good food and unforgettable experience and will be looking forward for Wanderland 2025.
