Manila, Philippines — Tanaw The Repeat concert delivered another night of amazing performances, featuring some of the most iconic women in Filipino rock music.
The Newport Performing Arts Theatre became the heart and soul of OPM rock as it hosted the much-anticipated event on February 9, 2025.

The sold-out event brought together six legendary female rock artists—Kitchie Nadal, Acel Bisa, Aia de Leon, Lougee Basabas, Barbie Almalbis, and Hannah Romawac—who delivered unforgettable performances, taking fans on a journey down memory lane with their classic hits.
The show started with a solo set for each artist, beginning with Aia de Leon. She is known for her contributions to the music scene, particularly in the alternative rock and pop-rock genres, and for her distinct voice.

Aia started the show with a bang, performing classic hits including “Idlip,” “Tao Lang,” “Taralets,” “Sundo,” “Taning,” and “Akap.”
This was followed by another jaw-dropping set by Hannah Romawac, who had the fans singing along as she performed classic Session Road songs including “Sana Naman,” “Kailan,” “Suntok Sa Buwan,” “Leaving You,” and “Cool Off.”

She is not only known for her voice and music but also for her lyrical depth about life, love, and self-growth. She has also been involved in the growth of both indie and alternative music in the Philippines.
Acel Bisa, another Filipino songwriter, is known for her angelic voice. She started her set with a medley from her former band, including “Ang Pag-Ibig kong ito” and “Sulat.”

She also performed a cover of Jewel’s “You Were Meant for Me,” “Hello to Heaven,” and lastly, the iconic song “Torete.”
The current Mojofly vocalist is Lougee Basabas. Together with her band Mojofly, they performed their chart-topping songs including “Minamalas,” “Tumatakbo,” “Mula Noon,” “Mamahalin Mo Ba Ako,” “Close to the End,” and “Mata.”

Another highlight of the night was when Lougee’s daughter and son performed with them on stage.

Back from Spain was another hit-maker, Kitchie Nadal, who returned to Manila to join the concert.

Her hit songs “Fire,” “Same Ground,” “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin,” and “Bulong.”

The final set for the solo performance is from Barbie Almalbis, who is one of the most influential figures in the Filipino music scene and is known for her role as the frontwoman of the band Barbie’s Cradle, a rock band that gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

In her set, she performed “Tabing Ilog,” “Ayoko ng Torpe,” “Just A Smile,” “Homeostasis,” and her song from the new album “Not That Girl.”
Barbie also showcased her guitar skills, performing the guitar part of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets.”

As the nearly four-hour show unfolded, the crowd was electrified with anticipation, and the energy was palpable. Fans packed the venue, singing along to every word as each performer took their turn in the spotlight.

Ending the concert on a high note, Tanaw Collective performed Acel’s song “Buhangin,” a rendition of “Zombie” by The Cranberries, “Talinghaga,” and their new single, “Landslide.”

The collaboration and chemistry between the talented artists were another highlight of the repeat concert. Tanaw The Repeat proved that the timeless music of these rock queens continues to resonate deeply with both longtime fans and a new generation of listeners.
