Manila, Philippines – South Korean actress Park Min-young held her highly anticipated first fan meeting in the Philippines, titled “My Brand New Day In Manila,” on May 12, 2024, at the Skydome.
The lead actress of the popular k-dramas “City Hunter,” “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim,” and “Her Private Life” has finally met her Filipino fans.
Min-young opened the fan meet event by serenading the audience with the song “Bad Liar,” which is one of the original soundtracks from her recent drama “Marry My Husband.”
“Kamusta kayo?” she greeted her fans who had been waiting to see her in person.

The 38-year-old actress talked about her recent drama, “Marry My Husband,” and expressed her happiness with the ratings and feedback that the drama received.
She also shared one of her vacation vlogs from Vietnam.
Park Min-young surprised the audience with a dance performance to the tune of. “You & Me” by Jennie proves that she is not only talented in acting but also in dancing.
“I would like to show my fans something that I haven’t shown yet.”

The next part of the program is a Q&A segment where the actress answered questions from the fans. The questions ranged from her being a BTS and K-pop fan, her next project, to her life mantra, which is “Just Do It.”
A compilation of heartfelt messages from Min-young’s friends and fellow actors, including Pyo Ye-jin, Choi Gyuri, Kim Mi-kyung, and Na In-woo, was shown to the audience.
My Choice
One of the highlights of the event was the interactive games session. Lucky fans were able to meet the actress on stage and won a Polaroid photo with her.
Min-young also showcased her talent in the arts by personally designing an eco-bag, which she gifted to a fan from China who had also attended her shows in other countries.
A surprised video filled with touching messages and encouragement from her fans was shown to the actress.
“The greatest strength that I could get as an actress comes from the love and support of my fans,” the actress said after watching the touching video.
She also mentioned that she will strive hard to become the best actress for her fans.
A Message to Her Fans
“Today is amazing.” “This is my first time in the Philippines, and I really want to come back again,” she said when asked about her thoughts on her first-ever fan meet in the country.
Park Min-young read a letter dedicated to her Filipino fans, expressing gratitude for their continuous support and apologizing for visiting Manila only now.
“I’m so sorry that it took this long to meet our Filipino fans. It would have been better if I had come earlier.”
The South Korean superstar concluded her fan meet event on a high note by performing a cover of “Flowers,” originally sung by Miley Cyrus.
“I really promise you guys we will see each other again,” Min-young said to her fans before bidding farewell to the audience.
