Manila, Philippines – The KWAVE Music Festival 2024 is set to electrify Burnham Green at Quirino Grandstand in Manila on May 11, 2024.
It was recently announced that the venue has been moved from Tarlac to Manila.
The 2024 Badminton Asia Closing Ceremony KWAVE Music Festival will feature K-pop groups “The Boyz” and “Fromis_9,” as well as P-pop groups “KAIA,” “YGIG,” “YARA,” and “PLUUS.”
The Return of The Boyz
Headlining the event is the sensational K-pop boy group, THE BOYZ, who will be returning to Manila to meet their Filipino fans.
The group had a successful concert on July 15, 2023, at the Araneta Coliseum for their “THE BOYZ 2ND WORLD TOUR: ZENERATION IN MANILA”.
Philippine Debut for Fromis_9
The charming South Korean girl group Fromis_9 will finally meet their Filipino fans for the first time at the event.
Members Saerom, Hayoung, Jiwon, Jisun, Seoyeon, Chaeyoung, Nagyung, and Jiheon will ensure to entertain the crowd with their impressive vocals, visuals, and dance skills.
The Rise of P-pop
Filipino pop girl group YGIG, who made their debut in November 2022, will make their presence felt as the five-member group showcases their talent.
P-pop boy group PLUUS, who made their debut in 2023, have garnered the spotlight with their catchy songs “AMIGO,” “MY TIME,” and “Shining Star.”
It was recently announced that the five-member groups KAIA and YARA have been added.
KAIA made their debut in April 2022 and is one of the rising P-pop groups in the country, known for their hit songs “Dalawa,” “Turn Up,” and “Kaya.”
YARA is a four-member group that made their debut in March 2023 and is known for their version of “Bakit Papa” and original song “Adda”.
