Manila, Philippines – Ji Chang Wook returns to the Philippines for his “Moments With Ji Chang Wook” The Fan Meet, held at the Araneta Colesium, on August 4, 2024.
Two years after his last Manila visit, the South Korean actor returned as one of the ‘Global BENCH Setter’ for local clothing line BENCH.
The show kicked off with Ji Chang Wook performing “Kissing You”, a soundtrack from the Kdrama ‘7 First Kisses.’
The jam packed venue greeted the actor with a warm welcome by saying “We Love You Ji Chang Wook” in English, Filipino, and Korean language.
“After such a long time I was able to come back here in the Philippines and meet my Filipino fans as well. Thank you for welcoming me.”
LOVESTRUCK WITH BENCH
The next segment is the Q and A portion where Ji Chang Wook shared how happy he is with the outcome of his photoshoot with Bench and how he is a perfect fit with the clothing because of his active lifestyle.
“Also because of BENCH, I was able to meet my Filipino fans as well,” he added.
He also shared his upcoming projects starting on August 7 with his movie “Revolver“, then he will be a special guest for a drama which will be released in late August titled “The Queen Woo.” It will be followed by a drama under Disney+ on the latter part of the year titled “Gangnam B-side,” and starting next month he will be start to shoot for a new drama titled “Sculpture City.”
It was followed by a fan interaction with Chang Wook where selected fans had the opportunity to ask the actor questions and advices.
Chang Wook, despite his shyness in giving advice, offered helpful and positive guidance to his fans.

The next segment allowed selected fans from the audience to do the same pose with Ji Chang Wook.
IF YOU WISH UPON ME
In another fan interaction segment, Ji Chang Wook selected 10 wishes and fulfilled all of them.
The wishes comprise a selfie, a message to the fan’s mother, maintaining eye contact with Chang Wook for 5 seconds, a birthday greeting, and a brief excerpt from the soundtrack of the drama titled ‘I’ll Protect You.’
ROOKIE VERSUS PRO
The event featured extensive fan interaction, with Chang Wook and a fan re-enacting scenes from the actor’s previous dramas.
GIFT FOR WOOKIE
A fan-made video containing positive messages for the actor was presented to the South Korean star, eliciting an overwhelming response from him due to the love and support shown by his Filipino fans.
The South Korean actor joined the fans in singing along to the song “Laundry” by Lee Juck.
He conveyed his appreciation to the attendees of his fan meeting.
“I am actually very happy that it was a very fun fan meeting today. I also realized that I would really love to have more opportunities to come back to the Philippines to meet you guys more often.”
“I hope you guys look forward to my future shows. I really, really love you and thank you so much,” he added.
Ending the event on a high note, Ji Chang Wook serenaded the fans with the songs “Even Though I Loved You” and a soundtrack from Healer titled “Protect You”Watch Over You.”
