Filipino-American artist Jessica Sanchez returns to the Philippines as she headlined the MPL Philippines Season 11 Finals between Echo Philippines and Blacklist International on May 7 at the SMX Convention Center.
The former ‘American Idol’ contestant was joined by Filipino artist Alisson Shore and performed the Mobile Legends theme song “Lakas ng Pinas”.
Sanchez who last visited the country in 2009, said that she was nervous and at the same time excited when asked to perform in the opening of the MPL PH Finals.
She also mentioned that she is also into games and would like to try playing Mobil Legends in the future. Sanchez, also mentioned that she and Alisson Shore might have a collaboration in the future.
Jessica will also be performing in the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night on May 13, 2023 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
As for Alisson Shore, he said that he was really nervous being on the same stage with Jessica Sanchez but he said that Jessica was approachable.
The Filipino RnB singer also said that he plays Mobile Legends and is very excited watching the games.
