Manila, Philippines – The Fusion Philippines Music Festival made a triumphant return as music enthusiasts were treated to a night of electrifying and unforgettable performances by top local artists on November 11, 2023, at The CCP Open Grounds in Pasay City.
The rainy weather didn’t stop the fans from flocking to the venue to watch the battle of the bands and the main event in the evening, featuring the best Filipino artists.
OPM bands Gracenote, Hey June! and 6Cyclemind kicked off the night by rocking the stage, creating an electrifying atmosphere throughout the venue.
A music festival is not complete without Hip-Hop music, and the three icons Al James, Shanti Dope, and Gloc-9 showcased their talents with an explosive set, making the crowd groove to their hit songs “Pahinga,” “Sirena,” and “Nadarang.”
Following the Hip-Hop set, there will be a performance by two Filipino music powerhouses, KZ Tandingan and Bamboo.
KZ Tandingan, known for her soulful voice, set the tone for the evening, captivating the crowd and prompting them to sing along with her.
Following KZ’s breathtaking set, Bamboo took the stage by storm with his charisma. He had the audience jumping when he performed “Hallelujah” and “Awit ng Kabataan.”
Denise Julia commanded the audience’s attention when she appeared on stage and showcased her own original hits, including “NVMD,” “Butterflies,” and “B.A.D.”
Morisette Amon, the one and only, took the stage next and mesmerized the audience with her high notes and powerful vocals.
The NU Dance Squad also delivered an outstanding set showing their synchronized moves.
Rising stars Adie and Arthur Nery captivated fans when they performed their chart-topping songs “Paraluman,” “Mahika,” “Higa,” and “Pagsamo.”
Both artists serenaded the crowd with their velvety vocals and magnetic stage presence, showcasing why they have become names to watch in the industry.
As the night progressed, anticipation mounted for the highly anticipated appearance of Ben&Ben.
Despite the rain, the band made sure that their set was worth the wait as they played their hit songs “Pagtingin,” “Araw-Araw,” and “Ride Home.”
The night ended with an unforgettable show from the PPop Kings SB19 or now called ‘Mahalima’, known for their chart-topping hits, ignited the stage with their energetic presence, delivering a show that left the crowd in awe especially when they performed ‘Gento’.
The festival not only celebrates the diversity of Filipino music but also serves as a platform for emerging talents to shine.
With genres spanning from pop to rock, hip-hop to indie, the Fusion Philippines Music Festival catered to a wide spectrum of musical preferences, uniting fans from all walks of life.
Beyond the sensational performances, the festival also emphasized the significance of music in uniting people, nurturing a sense of community, and showcasing local talent on a grand stage.
