Ena Mori Celebrates Birthday with Second Installment of Ena Matsuri

Manila, Philippines – Japanese-Filipino indie artist Ena Mori will return with the second offering of Ena Matsuri, happening at Justin Bella Alonte Photography Studio in Makati City, on. September 21, 2024, from 6 PM onwards.

After a successfull birthday show, the second instalment promising a more club-leaning, endorphin-inducing experience for her dedicated fan base and music fans alike.

With a lineup that boasts an all-electro/rave/hyper-pop/dance/rhythmic lineup from the scene’s buzziest underground, Ena Matsuri combines music, dance, art, and interactive elements to create an immersive environment that celebrates the best of what modern pop, youth, and online culture has to offer.

“Last year was my first Ena Matsuri event and it started off as a little celebration of my birthday,” shares the award-winning experimental pop star. “This year, we are doing something different. I wanted to focus on more electronic and rave-y elements, which correlate to what I’ve been listening to lately.”

The Ena Matursi show is curated, co-produced and conceptualized by Ena Mori herself, with assistance from her music label Offshore Music and GNN Entertainment Productions.

Ena Mori is an indie Filipino-Japanese artist known for her eclectic sound and captivating stage presence.

Her full-length debut album, DON’T BLAME THE WILD ONE!, was selected as the Best Asian Album of 2022 by international music publication NME, and gave her a 5-star rating for being a “triumphant rallying cry for the dejected, filled with pop hooks that reach for the stars.”

She also graced several international music festivals, including SXSW Austin Texas, AXEAN Festival, Wanderland Music & Arts Festival, SXSW Sydney, So Far Sounds UK, Asian Pop Festival, and Jakarta Music Con—among many others!
