Here’s a fun fact: Did you know that in some teachings, the word “Dew” symbolizes freshness and strength in the early stages of life? Well, such a description perfectly fits our fun-filled experience at Thai actor Dew Jirawat’s first solo fan meeting in Manila. The event took place on October 14, 2023, a Saturday, at Samsung Hall in SM Aura.
The energy of his ecstatic supporters filled the hall as he started off cool with a performance of F4 Thailand’s OST, ‘In the Wind’. But the audience became even more excited as he uttered the heartwarming words, “Mahal kita, baby” (I love you, baby).
During the press conference prior to the event, Dew mentioned famous Filipino romantic lines, such as “Mahal kita” (I love you), “Gumising ka na, aking binibini” (Wake up, my lady), and “Baby, gumising ka na” (Baby, wake up), which melted the hearts of many Filipino media friends and supporters. Jirawat sang “Melt” for his second performance.
Aside from these, he also performed his rendition of his F4 Thailand co-actor Bright Vachirawit’s song ‘My Ecstasy’ and the mellow song ‘North Star’, which perfectly depicts his dedication and unwavering love for his craft.
Dew was also enthusiastic about participating in the planned activities during the fan meet. He briefly shared things about himself in the “Knowing more about Dew” segment, tried Filipino delicacies such as turon, chicharon, and halu-halo, talked about the things he usually brings when he goes to other places in the “Let’s go on a trip” portion, showed his charm while reacting to clips of his previous projects in the “Melting because of Dew” segment, and showcased his wit by playing the Filipino charades-like game, “Pinoy Henyo.”
With his birthday fast approaching on October 30th, the event was complete with fan projects displayed on screen, a birthday cake, and the warmest greetings from the crowd. Surely, meeting Dew was another significant event worth cherishing as a core memory.
The event is made possible by Makeitlive and hosted by showbiz correspondent, MJ Felipe.
