Manila – 90s boy group A1 returned to the Philippines to celebrate their twenty-five years in the industry. The two-night Manila stop was held on October 14 and 15 at the New Frontier Theater.

After a successful show in Singapore, the Philippines was blessed to have a four-night event in the country, starting in Davao, Cebu, and two shows in Manila.

The New Frontier Theater was transported back in time to the glorious era of the 90s as the boy group showcased a dazzling performance, allowing fans to relive their youth.

The two-night event in Manila has been nostalgic for fans, as they witnessed the charm and talent of the iconic boy group members Ben Adams, Mark Read, Christian Ingebrigtsen, and Paul Marazzi.

A1 opened the show with their danceable hits “Same Old Brand New You,” “Be The First To Believe,” and “Summertime Of Our Lives” to bring up the energy right from the start.

They continued the show with more of their hits, such as “Everytime,” “Ready Or Not,” and “Forever In Love,” making the fans sing along with them.

They also performed their latest single, “Call Me When You Land,” which was released on October 6th, followed by “Make It Good.”

With three of their members having children, they dedicated ‘When I’m Missing You’ to them.

As Mark was the only single member in the group, the other three teased him by changing the lyrics of ‘If You Were My Girl’ to ‘If You Were Mark’s Girl’. They finished their mini acoustic set with ‘One More Try’.

They even had a Boyband Medley called ‘The Songs We Wished We Did’, where they sang ‘Quit Playing Games’, ‘Back For Good’, ‘Story Of My Life’, ‘This I Promise You’, and ‘I Want It That Way’. This medley filled the venue with a nostalgic vibe, as the fans grew up with these songs.

More 90s nostalgia came in as they sang their inspirational song “Learn To Fly.” The section continued with “No More,” “Living The Dream,” “Heaven By Your Side,” “Caught In The Middle,” and “One Last Song.”

The encore included “Walking In The Rain,” the much-awaited “Like A Rose,” and finished with “Take On Me.”

‘a1’s Twenty Five Anniversary Tour’ was surely a hit, filled with fans (some seeing them for the first time in 25 years) who sang along throughout the entire show.
