Manila, Philippines – To give a little taste of what’s to come, Filipino artist Denise Julia along with Sony Music Entertainment released her debut album ‘Sweet Nothings’ (Chapter 1) on Friday, November 17.
The emerging R&B artist aims to share the experiences and stories that inspire her the most with her fans. With the seven-song tracklist, Denise Julia aims to take listeners on a musical journey exploring the intricacies of love, intoxication, heartbreak, healing, and much more.
‘Sweet Nothings’ Chapter 1 is composed of the song ‘B.A.D.’ Featuring P-Lo, “Lackin’,” “Sugar n’ Spice,” “bum 2 me” featuring Jason Dhakal, “Roster,” “butterflies,” and a live version of “butterflies.”
Denise Julia has gained recognition for her hit songs on Spotify, including “NVMD” with 133 million streams, “Pity Ya” with 8.4 million streams, and “butterflies” with 6.3 million streams.
The multi-talented recording star expressed gratitude to her fans, who were able to relate to her songs. “That’s incredible,” she said, “that you were able to connect with my writing so deeply, to the point where it felt like your own personal experience.”
Authenticity, thoughtfulness, soulfulness, the amount of time invested, and the ability to connect with the audience are the qualities that Denise Julia believes distinguish her from others.
“To me, it’s such an honor, and hopefully, I’ll be able to live up to their expectations,” Denise Julia said when asked about the expectations and trust that were placed in her.
The launch was also attended by influencers, celebrities James Reid, Yassi Pressman and Adie.
